Jeremiah L. Platt is a 2001 graduate of Kansas State University. He then attended the Washburn University School of Law where he graduated with honors in 2006. After four years of private practice in the Manhattan, Kansas area, he joined the firm and became a partner one year later. He continues to limit his practice to defending those accused of crimes.
Jeremy offers his clients a wealth of experience in his criminal defense practice. Since graduating from law school, Mr. Platt has practiced exclusively in the criminal arena and has received specialized training in DUI defense. He is a graduate of the National College for DUI Defense Summer Session conducted annually at Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts and is certified in the administration of the National Highway Safety and Traffic Administration’s Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Jeremy has also lectured on the legal ramifications of drinking and driving to participants in Drug and Alcohol information School.
Moreover, Jeremy Platt has defended numerous clients in Federal Court, State Courts and Municipal Courts throughout central Kansas, and he enjoys a well earned reputation for delivering aggressive, competent and effective trial defense services. While Jeremy is known for his successful defense of drunk driving cases, he is also experienced in defending a broad range of misdemeanor and felony crimes.
Jeremy is a member of the Kansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Kansas Bar Association and the Riley County Bar Association.
Since 2013, Jeremy has been an Adjunct Professor at Kansas State University teaching law related classes.
